Cookie policy
The short version: this website sets no cookies and loads nothing from anyone else. The rest of this page explains what that means, and describes the one thing your browser does store, which is the fact that you dismissed the bar at the bottom of the screen.
1. What a cookie is, and which ones need your permission
A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to keep and to send back on later visits. Other techniques do the same job by other means: local storage, tracking pixels, device fingerprinting. The law looks at the effect, not at the technique, so they are treated the same way. Two families matter here.
- Technical, strictly necessary items. They exist to deliver something you asked for: keeping you signed in, remembering a language, remembering that you closed a notice. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC), brought into Italian law by Article 122 of legislative decree 196 of 2003, these do not require consent.
- Analytics, profiling and advertising items. They measure what you do or follow you from site to site. These require your prior, informed and freely given consent, collected before they are installed. Refusing has to be as easy as accepting, and you must be able to change your mind later. In Italy the detailed rules are in the guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools adopted by the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali on 10 June 2021.
2. What this site uses: none of the second kind, and none of the first either
This website sets no cookies at all. Specifically, there is:
- no analytics of any kind: no Google Analytics, no Matomo, no Plausible, and no server side statistics either, because the web server writes no access log;
- no advertising or conversion pixel, no retargeting tag, no affiliate tracking;
- no social network button, embed or share widget;
- no video, map, typeface or script loaded from another domain;
- no chat widget, no A/B testing tool, no heatmap or session recording;
- no bought consent management platform, which is why the bar at the bottom of the page is a short piece of our own JavaScript rather than someone else's product;
- no login, no basket, no contact form.
This changed on 1 September 2026, and it is worth saying so. The site was built on a template that loaded its typefaces from Google (fonts.googleapis.com for the stylesheets, fonts.gstatic.com for the font files). Loading a font from another company's server sends that company the IP address of everyone who opens the page, which is a transfer of personal data to a third party, and it is the one thing on this site that would have required asking you first. The typefaces are now stored on our own server and served from davincicapitals.com, so those requests no longer happen and there is nothing left to ask you about.
Your browser makes requests to davincicapitals.com and to nowhere else. You do not have to take our word for it: open your browser's developer tools, look at the Network tab and reload the page, then look at Storage and see the cookie list empty.
3. The one thing stored on your device
When you dismiss the bar at the bottom of the page with "Got it", the page writes a single entry in your browser's local storage, so that the bar does not greet you again on every visit.

It holds no identifier, nothing about you and nothing about what you looked at. It stays on your device. If you never dismiss the bar, nothing is written at all. If your browser blocks local storage, in a private window for instance, the site behaves exactly the same and the bar simply comes back next time.
How to delete it
- Chrome, Edge, Brave: click the icon at the left of the address bar, then "Cookies and site data", then delete the data for davincicapitals.com.
- Firefox: click the padlock in the address bar, then "Clear cookies and site data".
- Safari: Settings, Privacy, "Manage Website Data", search for davincicapitals.com and remove it.
- Any browser: open the developer tools, go to Application or Storage, then Local Storage, and delete the entry.
4. Third parties
There are none on this site, so there is no third party cookie table to publish. The pages do contain a few ordinary links out to other websites, StockPickers.app among them. Those load nothing until you click them, and once you do you are on someone else's site, under their rules and their cookie policy, not ours.
5. If this ever changes
If DaVinci Capitals later adds something that does set cookies or read your device, an analytics package, an embedded video, a map, a typeface loaded from elsewhere, a form hosted by a third party, then the bar at the bottom stops being a notice and becomes a real consent banner. In that case nothing of that kind will load before you accept, refusing will take exactly as many clicks as accepting, and you will be able to change your mind afterwards. This page will be rewritten at the same time, listing the name, purpose, duration and provider of every cookie involved. Until you read that here, none of it is in place.
